Hive Tyrants are the supreme commanders of the Tyranid swarm, acting as living extensions of the Hive Mind’s will. Towering over lesser organisms, they combine immense physical power with strategic intelligence, directing the flow of battle while personally tearing apart the enemy.

This multipart plastic kit builds one Hive Tyrant, a highly versatile leader and centrepiece model for Tyranid armies in games of Warhammer 40,000. The creature features a heavily armoured carapace studded with organic vents, a snarling horned visage, and a skeletal underbody that highlights its alien biology.

The kit includes a wide range of weapon and biomorph options, allowing you to tailor your Hive Tyrant to suit different battlefield roles. Armament choices include scything talons, a heavy venom cannon, a stranglethorn cannon, and a bonesword paired with a lash whip. Additional upgrades such as adrenal glands and toxin sacs are also included for further customisation.

Alternatively, this kit can be assembled as a Winged Hive Tyrant for increased mobility, or as the Swarmlord, a legendary synapse commander of unmatched battlefield control.
