By placing an order through our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or place an order.
1. About Us
The Adventurer’s Attic is an online retail store offering click-and-collect only.
We do not provide delivery or shipping services.

2. Eligibility to Purchase
By placing an order, you confirm that:
- You are legally capable of entering into a binding contract
- All information provided is accurate and complete
- You are authorised to use the chosen payment method
3. Products and Availability
All products are subject to availability.
We reserve the right to limit quantities or discontinue items at any time.
Product images are for illustration purposes only. Actual products may vary slightly.
4. Prices and Payment
All prices are shown in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT unless stated otherwise.
Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering.
Prices may change at any time before your order is confirmed.
5. Orders and Acceptance
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase.
We reserve the right to accept or decline any order.
A contract is formed only when you receive an order confirmation from us.
6. Click-and-Collect Only
All orders must be collected from the location provided at checkout.
No delivery, courier, or postal services are offered.
Collection instructions will be provided in your confirmation email.
7. Collection Timeframes
Orders must be collected within 30 days of confirmation unless otherwise stated.
If an order is not collected within this period, we reserve the right to:
- Cancel the order
- Issue a refund (where applicable), and/or
- Restock or dispose of the items
Refunds may be subject to deductions only where permitted by law.
8. Identification on Collection
You may be asked to show proof of identity and/or your order confirmation.
Orders may only be collected by the purchaser or an authorised representative.
9. Your Right to Cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations)
For most items, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days after collecting your goods, without giving any reason.
To cancel, please contact us by email within this period.
You must return the items to us within 14 days of cancellation. Items must be unused and in original condition.
Unless the goods are faulty, you are responsible for return costs.
Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned goods using the original payment method.
This right does not apply to customised items, perishable goods, or other exempt products.
10. Faulty or Misdescribed Goods
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality.
If your item is faulty:
- You have 30 days to reject it for a full refund
- After 30 days, you may be entitled to a repair or replacement
- If that fails, you may be entitled to a refund
Please contact us as soon as possible if there is an issue.
11. Inspection at Collection
We encourage customers to inspect items at the time of collection and notify us immediately of any visible issues.
12. Risk and Ownership
Ownership and responsibility for the goods pass to you once they are collected.
We are not responsible for loss or damage after collection.
13. Use of Our Website
You agree not to:
- Use the website unlawfully
- Interfere with its operation or security
- Attempt unauthorised access
14. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Otherwise, to the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the products.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
15. Privacy
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect once published on our website.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
