Combat Patrol: Tyranids – Assault Brood

Tyranid invasions rarely begin with a single threat. Instead, fast-moving disruption organisms strike first, supported by brutal guardian beasts and living artillery. This Assault Brood showcases the terrifying adaptability of the Hive Mind, combining infiltration, heavy support, and relentless close-combat pressure.

This box is an ideal way to start a Tyranids army or expand an existing collection, offering a complete Combat Patrol force for games of Warhammer 40,000 at a saving compared to buying the kits separately. Led by the nightmarish Parasite of Mortrex, the force blends speed, durability, and fire support to overwhelm the enemy in tight, tactical battles.

The Parasite of Mortrex harasses enemy lines and spreads infestation, while Tyrant Guard smash through hardened targets or protect key units. Genestealers surge forward to finish weakened foes, and a Biovore provides ranged pressure by launching living spore mines across the battlefield. This set builds 18 plastic Tyranid miniatures:

The models offer a high degree of customisation. Genestealers include multiple head options, the Biovore can be assembled as a Pyrovore, and the Tyrant Guard feature interchangeable heads, bodies, limbs, and weapons. Tyrant Guard can be armed with crushing claws, scything talons, or a bone sword and lash whip, or built as Hive Guard with impaler cannons or shockcannons.
