Baneblade Super-Heavy Tank

More rolling fortress than vehicle, the Baneblade super-heavy tank possesses overwhelming firepower. Wherever a Baneblade goes to war, it becomes the centre of the battle line, Imperial Guardsmen and lighter vehicles sheltering in its shadow as its immense primary cannon and banks of secondary weapons batter the enemy into submission.

This gargantuan multipart plastic kit builds a Baneblade, a thunderous super-heavy tank capable of enduring punishment that would annihilate a lesser force. It makes an ideal lynchpin for an armoured column, drawing enemy fire and unleashing a withering storm of destruction in return. The Baneblade is armed with a baneblade cannon and co-axial autocannon mounted in the turret, a demolisher cannon in the forward hull, two lascannons in side turrets, twin heavy bolters in a forward hull turret, two twin heavy flamers in sponson mounts, and a heavy stubber mounted atop the turret. The sponson-mounted flamers can be replaced with twin heavy bolters, and additional sponsons can be added, mounting extra lascannons and either twin heavy bolters or twin heavy flamers.

A wide range of cosmetic options is included, such as extra stowage, additional tread armour, tow hooks, fuel canisters, and multiple options for gunners and tank commanders in the hatches, including a choice of heads. The tank commander can alternatively be assembled on foot, armed with either a bolt pistol or laspistol, and a power sword or pointing hand.

This massive kit can alternatively be assembled as a variety of other super-heavy tanks:

• Banesword, armed with a quake cannon to devastate vehicles and fortifications at extreme range

• Shadowsword, armed with a tank-slaying volcano cannon

• Doomhammer, armed with a magma cannon and capable of transporting troops

• Stormsword, armed with a bunker-busting stormsword siege cannon

• Banehammer, armed with a tremor cannon to disrupt enemy advances

• Stormlord, armed with a vulcan mega-bolter and extensive transport capacity

• Hellhammer, armed with a hellhammer cannon for brutal close-quarters warfare
